brianbogs Happy Foster Friday Meet Parmesan The teeniest of our little cheese cubes…meet Parmesan! She is a 6 month old Chihuahua mix, with a rich chocolatey brown coat. Parmesan is the shyest of our cheeses, but has come leaps and bounds in her short time here. She is no longer scared of walking, will except treats, and loves to run around the yard. Now, even thought she has come very far, she will need a calm and quiet home to thrive…. and she really hopes to have a doggy sibling – she loves Asiago and they would make a great pair if you’re interested in two adorable chi-chis!! Our cheese cubes came from the Long Beach shelter, where there were 23 chihuahua/terriers relinquished at one time. So these kiddos are shy at first, and are still learning what it’s like to get to be a dog! They need time and patience to help them settle into new homes of their very own. Most of us clean our home or have it cleaned and it looks pretty good. But not when you’re selling. brianbogs How’s the market? Is it spooky? That’s the question I have been asked 1,000’s of times in my 20+ years of selling real estate. Well the first one, not the spooky part. Often times it’s a pretty easy answer but the last few years the most common answer I give is “it’s weird”. There are such strong differences in the type of market it is based on price point, type of home and area of the home. Condo inventory is up but overall inventory is trending down. That’s normal this time of the year as most people don’t put their home on the market during the holidays if they can avoid it. This time of year also brings lower buyer demand again due to the holidays. brianbogs 🧹 Minimize to Maximize that’s my #1 rule when selling This is a common statement I use when talking with sellers. Buyers can see past chaos in a garage. But in the kitchen, bathrooms, or bedrooms? Not a chance! Less stuff = more perceived space = higher offers. My sellers get a room by room analysis and checklist of items we need to have moved, removed or changed prior to taking photos and having buyers view the home.
