The Cafe began with humble beginnings in 2011 in a small store located in the heart of Little Saigon by a band of brothers and friends. The vision was to bring together the best products of various cultures and apply finer details to make them even better. Today, 7 Leaves has expanded across Orange County, growing from southern to northern California.
Why 7 Leaves?
Apart from their tasty menu items, the relaxed and and wholesome vibe of the cafe brings nothing but positive energy – creating a nice hangout spot for people to chit-chat with friends, work on laptops, read a book, listen to music and just enjoy the day. When Molly and I go, we prefer to sit at the bar-top seating that is positioned right in front of the big glass window – great people watching spot! 😉
Staff/Customer Service
The awesome staff plays a huge part in the overall atmosphere and positive energy of the cafe. All of the employees have a great, upbeat attitude and are eager to help you out. The staff does a wonderful job of making you feel nothing but welcomed into the 7 Leaves family from the moment you walk in, to the moment you walk out.
Favorite Drink/Food Options!
As you all know by now, I’m a picky eater – especially when it comes to my coffee and pastries. Now, I am not a huge fan of sweets, however, 7 leaves Cafe has managed to break down that wall – with full force! Molly on the other hand, loves her sweets, so she has a lot to compare to. With that said, 7 Leaves has definitely earned a special place in her heart with their unique & delicious drink and food items. I definitely have a few favorites on the menu, but if I had to pick it would be their Vietnamese Iced Coffee – It’s a strong coffee with sweetened condensed milk, chilled on ice. Even those who take their coffee black – like me – will love this! It has a great bold taste with just a hint of sweetness. Molly’s favorite, is the Sea Cream Jasmine Tea. With the alluring aroma of Jasmine this light and refreshing iced drink is a fun twist on green tea – topped with their yummy signature foam – Whipped Sweet Cream – which is freshly made, daily. And you can’t forget the Macaroons, of course! Their handmade macarons are baked in-house to perfection using an original recipe. These bright and colorful almond cookies are filled with various ganache filling, giving each macaron its own taste profile. They are a perfect complement to a delicious hot cup of coffee, or simply on their own. With the wide variety of macaroon options – Pistachio, Banana Cream Pie, Salted Caramel, Green Tea, ect. – it’s hard to choose just one!
